Dear SFB Parish Families,
As we approach the 2018-2019 school year, Mrs. Alexander will be splitting her time between the responsibilities of parish music ministry and vocal music at the Grade School! Please help me welcome Mrs. Roetheli as our new art teacher!
Beth Roetheli is a lifelong resident of Washington and parishioner of St. Francis Borgia. She is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia Grade School, SFBRHS and earned her Associate of Fine Arts Degree from East Central College. She has been an active member of our school as a parent, volunteer, substitute teacher and preschool assistant. In addition you can see some of her beautiful art work on walls of our school library!
Beth and her husband Tim reside in Krakow with their two children Henry and Amelia. She enjoys creating and painting custom signs and spending time with her family and friends. Some of her other hobbies include knitting, gardening and outdoor activities. Beth is thrilled to join our staff as art teacher here at SFBGS and she is looking forward to sharing her passion for and knowledge of art with all of our students!
SFBGS Marketing Committee is forming a parade float committee. We are looking for help to brainstorm ways to bring our design to life.
Congratulations to Annie Hasting and Henry Steffens our float design winners for this years’ Washington Town and Country Fair Parade.
Those who can help with painting, decorating and final details will be needed too! Anyone interested in turning the winning design into a reality, please contact Dawn Steffens at [email protected] Please join us at the Grade School Tuesday, June 26th at 6:30PM in the teacher’s lounge!
Happy Father's Day to the dad’s in your lives!
Your partner in learning and faith,
Mrs. Pahl, Principal
