As we close out this Catholic Schools Week, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support of our school and parish. Our school would not be what it is today without your continued support and prayers. In addition to the students having dress down days and special assemblies, they were also doing service projects such as collecting food for the food pantry, sending thank you notes to parents, teachers, and staff in both the school and parish.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who came to Open House on Sunday, January 29, 2017. It was so nice to see current and new families come to see the learning that takes place in our school each and every day. We are very grateful for the continued support we receive from all of you the parishioners and parents.
March For Life Trip Was Memorable!
Thank you for all of your prayers last week while the 8
th Graders were in Washington, DC for the Pro Life March. The experience was amazing for all who attended. The Franklin County area was very well represented. We had representatives from Immaculate Conception, St. John’s, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Vincent’s, St. Ignatius, St. Bridget’s, St. Gertrude’s, St. Francis Borgia Grade School and St. Francis Borgia Regional High School.
On Friday, before the Pro Life March we met with Claire Trokey, Aide to Representative Blain Luetemeyer. She spoke with us about the Pro Life movement in Washington, DC.
Pop Top Update
Thank you to everyone who has sent in pop tops so far. We started collecting January 3 & have almost filled a City of Washington Recycle Bin already. We will continue to collect until the end of April. The Washington Police Department will donate all money collected from the pop tops to the Ronald McDonald House. Thanks!
God Bless you and your family!
