This week, we recognize our Catechists!

Please join us in thanking the men and women who share their passions in learning with our parish children.  They are the foundation of our school community.  Luke 12:12 for “the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Slow Down, Please!

Now that school is back in session, a gentle reminder to pay close attention to the speed limit.  Our precious children are walking to and from school; their safety is important to all of us!

If the speed limit is not posted, it is 20 MPH. The WPD supports our efforts  to keep our students safe!

Hurricane Relief Efforts Planned by the Students

You are invited to join us in our effort to. raise money in support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.  We will be partnering with a Catholic School in Texas that needs our help.  As we learn more about relief efforts in Florida, we will reach out to the Archdiocese there.  Our students will use technology to communicate with them and pray together. Please send contributions in the form of checks (written to SFBGS Hurricane Relief Efforts on the subject line), or cash in sealed labeled envelopes (Hurricane Relief Efforts). Gifts  will be distributed directly to the school  in order to:

• help families with tuition assistance so that families can focus on recovery and schools can continue to pay their employees (many of whom also suffered losses).
• Serve the immediate needs of school families by providing gift cards to home repair stores, uniform stores, gas stations, and grocery stores.
