Congratulations to Former Students on Ad Altare Dei Awards

We are so proud of these fine young men for earning their Ad Altare Dei awards for Boy Scouts at the Cathedral. They studied the seven sacraments in depth and how they apply in their daily lives. There were only 34 boys in the St. Louis Archdiocese that earned the award this year. 

Five of these young men earned the Pope Pius XII award. This award focuses more on vocations and occupations and involvement in their parishes. Congratulations, former SFBGS students, Blake Weber, Parker Bruns, PSR student Ryan Murphy and former OLLGS students, Jack Guehne and Nathan Detert. They are all members of Boy Scout Troop 439. There were only 18 in the St. Louis Archdiocese that earned this award.
