On Thursday, May 6th we will honor our Blessed Mother with a May Crowning immediately following the 1 PM Ribbon Mass for our 8th Grade.
It is a special and memorable tradition for children to bring flowers and place them around the statue of Mary during a May Crowning.
We would like to extend an invitation inviting all the children in our school to bring flowers for Mary that day.
Since the crowning will be in the afternoon and flowers are delicate, we plan to have vases available outside of the school entrances that morning so that the children can simply drop them off when they arrive before going into school. These vases then will be moved over near the statue and will be in place in time for the crowning that afternoon.
What a beautiful symbol of our faith to those in our community as they will be able to drive by and see all the precious flowers offered to our Mother Mary from our school children.
