Openings for Summer Knights Camp Counselors Available!

Dear Families,

This summer, we are offering “Summer Knights Camp” for children in preschool through grade 8!

If you know of families that are looking for childcare over the summer, please refer them to the school or parish office for a registration form. Forms can also be found on the table in the gathering area this weekend. Registration can also be completed online at: http://bit.ly/SummerKnightsCamp2020

We have hired the directors, Mrs. Bierman, Miss Grannemann, and Miss Porter, all certified teachers! We are in the process of hiring camp counselors. Interested applicants should send their resume and letter of interest to [email protected] or drop it off at the school office.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Camp Directors, the Camp Counselor is responsible for planning and carrying out daily activity plans, entertaining campers, and being a positive role model for participants. The Camp Counselor is to ensure all safety risk management policies and procedures are followed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Plan and carry out daily activities that include religion, free play, gross motor activities with a balance of downtime and a variety of hands-on options
Supervise an assigned group throughout a full day of activities
Communicate effectively with camp directors
Attends field trips and assures risk and safety management is carried out
Assist program activities
Articulates camp behavior expectations to participants
Interact with camp staff and participants while multitasking
Role model for the Summer Knights campers
