Dear Parish Families,
Our children are our future! By definition, optimism is a disposition or tendency to look on the more favorable side of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome.
At SFBGS, we are feeling incredibly optimistic about our future. Our students are being prepared in a Christ-centered setting to develop future leadership skills through academic excellence, service to others and living a virtuous life. Josie Polizzi was recognized for enduring optimism and exemplifying the Optimist Creed by the Optimist Club of Washington!
The Optimist Club Of Washington is a civic club that works to assist youth in the Washington, Missouri area. They raise thousands of dollars each year assisting students, schools, and many local programs that focus on helping children and youth.

Please join me in thanking Josie and all of our grade school children! Their optimism brings us hope. The support of St. Francis Borgia Parish is the reason our students are so successful!

Mrs. Linda Pahl, Principal
