Saturday, April 1, 2017 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Jesuit Hall
The parish of St. Francis Borgia will present to all of the parents in the fulltime day school and the Parish School of Religion an all-day retreat experience.
We have invited Geri Boyer to lead our day. Geri Boyer has been leading retreats for 13 years at the Kings House Retreat and Renewal Center in Belleville, Illinois. She has a Master’s of Theology degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, and is a certified meditation instructor. Geri also completed the diaconal training program in the Diocese of Belleville with her husband Deacon Doug Boyer in 1997.
She is the founder and owner of the Kaskaskia Engineering Group based in Belleville, Illinois. Kaskaskia Engineering is a civil engineering and contracting firm. The majority of the firms work centers around highways and bridges. She has offices in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Minnesota.
Geri grew up in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri with her 9 brothers and sisters. She has been very active in professional, community and church organizations throughout her life but is in the process of turning those responsibilities over to others, so she can spend more time doing the things that she loves, like playing with grandchildren and preaching retreats.
Our day will begin in Jesuit Hall at 9:00 am with a continental breakfast and fellowship. The parish will offer lunch to those who attend. We will offer babysitting for children up to the age of 9.
We pray that this will be a time of renewal and many blessings for all. At this time we would like to know how many to expect and ask that you return your
RSVP form to school or PSR by Friday, March 3
