CANDICE VOGEL

Candice has been an educator for over 30 years and is eager to begin another school year as the Reading Specialist at Borgia Grade School. Candice is a trained Reading Recovery teacher and her classroom teaching experience includes, Early Childhood Special Education, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Candice received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University, and obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching and Reading Specialist Certification from Webster University. Candice has been married to her husband Steve for 28 years.  Their daughter Alexandra teaches fourth grade in the Parkway school district, and their son Tucker is a college student.
