Elizabeth, our new middle school ELA teacher, has lived in the Washington area for most of her life. She is happily married with two daughters and three cats. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Central Methodist University in May of 2022. She is currently a member of St. Gertrude Parish, and her oldest daughter attends school at St. Gertrude School. She has wanted to be a teacher since she could remember, and she is thrilled to begin her teaching career at a Catholic school as wonderful as St. Francis Borgia Grade School. Catholicism is an important aspect of her life and one she takes very seriously. Before teaching at St. Francis Borgia, Elizabeth had a variety of professions- all of which were centered around helping people. In her free time, you can find Elizabeth spending time with her daughters and husband, tending to her flowers, or with her nose in a book. She feels blessed to have found a career that allows her to combine her lifelong passions of teaching, reading, and writing.
