Kerry grew up in a small Catholic Community in South-Central Kansas and moved to Missouri after serving in the United States Army. Kerry and his wife Robin moved to Kansas to raise their two daughters and moved back to Missouri after 11 years. After working a few public service jobs, he obtained his bachelor's in education from Central Methodist University. Kerry then furthered his career by obtaining an Elementary Math Specialist Certification from the University of Missouri and is now in the process of obtaining his Administration degree. Kerry worked in a public school setting for 13 years. He has taught 5th-8th grades during his time in the public school setting. Kerry and his wife now enjoy their first grandson, Everett, who is one year old, and enjoy raising their 16-year-old foster son they have had since he was 13.
