LAUREN EMORY

We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Emory, to teach third grade this year!  She graduated with her degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University.  She has lived in Union her entire life and graduated from Union High School in 2016. Miss Emory has worked for the Union School District as a substitute teacher and completed student teaching at Central Elementary in the 2nd grade.  Some of you might recognize her because she used to work at Miller’s Grill here in Washington.

Lauren loves to read and loves to be outdoors. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking or diving into a new book! Some of her favorite children's books include: Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, Doctor Seuss books, and the Narnia book series. Her favorite color is blue; she loves it so much that her car is that color!  An interesting fact about Miss Emory is that she has pet rabbits! Miss Emory is engaged to be married!
