Part-time Interventionist

My name is Sr. Gloria Petralia SSND, or as a lot of kids call me Sr. G.! I have been a sister for 48 years. I have a BA in English and a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialty in Special Education. I have taught every grade school level, and I have been a principal. I have also ministered as a Chaplain in several hospitals, including Mercy, here in Washington. I have ministered in the states of Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, Nebraska, and Missouri.

I have been living in Washington Missouri for 27 years. It truly is my second home. I have been in various Catholic schools as well as public. I am from St. Louis where I attended all Catholic schools. I have one brother and two sisters. My parents are in heaven. My passion is teaching children and ministering in the Catholic Church. I am thrilled to be rejoining the SFBGS team to work with small groups of identified students and teach religion to Prekindergarten children once a week!
