Before moving to Franklin county in 1986, Tina lived in St. Louis and was educated in the Parkway School District. Thanks to the urging of her friends and mentors, Doris and Steve Lochirco, Tina attended St. Francis Borgia Regional High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Tina taught English and Spanish at Borgia High School and was then a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. She joined the Borgia Grade School staff 9 years ago and is thrilled to be teaching Spanish, ELA, and Study Skills to middle schoolers. Their now adult children, Bonnie, Sarah, Louie, and Anna, are either in college or job searching. Tina and her husband, Buzz, live in Washington and are members of St. Francis Borgia parish. Tina enjoys gardening and Buzz has been a member of the Washington Volunteer Fire Company for 30 years; he serves as a deputy chief.
