Unified in Tradition, Faith and Education.
Winter Events
Tradition
Our school stands out due to its rich traditions and profound connections within the community. This year, we proudly welcome families with up to five generations who have attended or are currently attending as we embark on a new academic journey. While we remain dedicated to providing a cutting-edge education and embracing technological advancements, our core values remain steadfast. God is at the center of our mission, and our faith will remain resolute as we adapt to the changing times. Additionally, our student-to-teacher ratio fosters meaningful interactions, allowing educators to engage deeply with each student.

We cannot say enough about how amazing St. Francis Borgia truly is and what it means to our family. This school doesn’t just have the best staff; it also has the most amazing families. Most importantly, our kids are taught to love God and love each other.

On this World Day of Prayer for Vocations, may each person hear and respond to the call they have received. Prayer: Father, we ask for Your protection for our families. During Halloween, kids are exposed to so much darkness. Please shield our children's hearts and minds from darkness. May the light of Your goodness and love shine the way tonight. Shield the kids from dark images, dark thoughts, and anything else that seems to glorify everything that You are not. Please keep all the children physically safe. Thank You, Lord. Amen. “The LORD will keep you from all harm–he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” – Psalm 121:7-8Button

ThrowBack Thursday Show of hands parents, we know you had one! On October 23, 2001, Apple introduced the iPod, and with its simple promise of "1,000 songs in your pocket," it sparked a revolution. Before this, music was tied to physical media—CDs, tapes, or records. Creating a personal mix meant time and effort, and portability was limited to a single album or a handful of songs. The iPod changed everything. On October 23rd, we celebrate National iPod Day, a day that marks a pivotal moment in technology and music history. While we honor the iconic device, we also celebrate the groundbreaking idea it unleashed: the power to carry our entire musical world right in our pocket. It’s a day to remember the vision of innovators like Steve Jobs, whose work forever changed how we connect with sound.Button

St. John Paul II Feast Day! “Everyone knows John Paul II: his face, his characteristic way of moving and speaking; his immersion in prayer and his spontaneous cheerfulness. Many of his words have become indelibly engraved in our memories, starting with the passionate cry with which he introduced himself to the people at the beginning of his pontificate: ‘Open wide the doors to Christ, and be not afraid of him!’ Or this saying: ‘No one can live a trial life; no one can love experimentally.’ An entire pontificate is condensed in words like these. It is as though he would like to open the doors for Christ everywhere and wishes to open up to people the gate that leads to true life, to true love.” - Pope Emeritus Benedict XVIButton

Father God, we have no words. You know our hearts. Like many of you, we were deeply saddened to learn of the violence that occurred at a Catholic church in Minneapolis this morning. Archbishop Rozanski has released a statement urging us to come together in prayer and take meaningful action. You can find his message below. "It is with great sorrow that we mourn an unthinkable shooting that has extinguished at least two young lives, injured others who worshipped with them, and inflicted great emotional harm on the Annunciation Church community in Minneapolis. The loss of any human life at the hands of another is a great tragedy, and yet, this sorrowful act of violence hits especially close to home for those who care for children. I ask the Faithful of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to join me in praying fervently for divine guidance as our country mourns this loss of life, and I pray in a special way that we may come together in the wake of this tragedy."Button

We are THANKFUL beyond explanation for the VERY BEST teachers around! God of Love, Thank you for every teacher who notices a child’s special gift. Thank you for teachers who are listeners and gentle guides. Thank you for teachers who expect much and love enough to demand more. Thank you for the special teacher each one of us remembers. God of Mercy, Sustain teachers who give everything they have. Strengthen teachers who assume the blame for so many problems beyond their control. Help exhausted teachers rest. God of Strength, Encourage teacher to care and inspire them to nourish. Motivate teachers to keep on learning for the fun of it and to make learning enjoyable for children. We wonder at teachers who know how to quiet a class of five-year-olds or help fourth-graders be empathetic. We admire teachers who enjoy middle school writers, or teach physics or math of history. Bless the people who are expected to accomplish these miracles and who know how to comfort children when miracles don’t happen. God of Justice, help and support teachers in their special calling, wherever they teach and whatever obstacles they must face. We pray these things in the name of our great teacher, Jesus Christ. Amen. -From National Catholic Educational AssociationButton

Heavenly Father, Bless our teachers with patience, wisdom, and joy as they guide our children. Thank you for their dedication. Please give them strength and perseverance as they inspire and nurture the next generation. Lord, you alone can fill our teachers with compassion and understanding. May they see the unique potential in each student. We give thanks for the gift of teachers and for their dedication to their students. We ask that you let them feel our appreciation for them and know they are a blessing. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, AMEN!Button
